The current website

Analytics does not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting. An explicit choice is kept in local browser storage for 90 days. If that storage cannot be changed, a necessary refusal-only cookie (veale-analytics-denied) may remember that analytics must stay off, for up to 90 days. There are no advertising pixels, social-media embeds or automatically loaded third-party videos.

Your browser may temporarily cache page files and images to display the website efficiently. Network and hosting services process the requests needed to deliver and protect the site. These technical requests are explained in the website privacy policy.

Website analytics

Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics is off unless you enable it. It measures page visits, referrers and performance, including timings and device/browser characteristics. It does not use advertising cookies or identify you across websites. Cloudflare receives these measurements and technical network information. You can withdraw consent below; browser privacy signals keep analytics off.

We exclude visits with query strings, fragments, unknown routes or detailed external referrers to avoid sending information in URLs. Page counts cover eligible, consenting visits only. Read about Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Optional analytics is off.

Your choice affects analytics only. You can use every part of the website with analytics off.

External services

Email links open your chosen email application. If you follow an external link, that service’s privacy and storage practices apply. We do not load social-media widgets or store services merely because you visit one of our pages.

Future changes

If optional analytics or new media services are introduced, we will explain what they do and provide the choices required before they are used. Refusing optional technologies will not prevent you from reading the site.
